The 2011 Maine McDonald's High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games, held on March 12th, were an exciting day of basketball.
Boys A/B
The Boys A/B West Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Boys A/B East All-Star Team by a score of 105 – 83 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor. Alex Furness of Wells High School led the way for the West with 32 points. Zach Blodgett and Tyler McFarland led the East team with 16 points.
Boys C/D
The Boys C/D East Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Boys C/D West All-Star Team by a score of 103-83 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor. Joseph McCloskey of Penobscot Valley H.S. led the way for the East with 25 points. The high scorer for the West was Roger Bachelder of Monmouth Academy with 18 points.
Girls A/B
The Girls A/B West Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Girls A/B East All-Star Team by a score of 108-83 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor. Mia Rapolla of Gorham High School had 25 points for the West. Hillary Throckton of Bangor School led the way for the East, tallying 20 points.
Girls C/D
The Girls C/D West Senior All-Star Team defeated the Girls C/D East All-Star Team by a score of 105 – 70 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor. Cindy Schultz of Valley Memorial High School led the way for the West with 19 points. Schultz Rebecca Redding of Calais High School led the East team with 15 points.
