Top High School Student-Athletes Named To 2012 Maine McDonald's®
High School Senior All-State Academic Team
PORTLAND, Maine (February 22, 2012) -- The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) today announced selections for the 2012 Maine McDonald's® High School Senior All-State Academic Team. The ten boys and eleven girls selected were nominated by their coaches and were chosen to represent the more than 148 high schools in the state of Maine. (Statewide academic team list attached.)

MABC NAMES MR. AND MISS BASKETBALL SEMI-FINALISTS
PORTLAND, Maine (February 22, 2012) -- Local Maine McDonald's Owner/Operators and the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) today announced semi-finalists for the 2012 Mr. and Miss Maine Basketball Awards, presented to one outstanding male high school senior and one outstanding female high school senior basketball player in the state. The award, the state's highest basketball honor, recognizes the players’ performances on the court, as well as their contribution to their teams and to Maine basketball.

Bangor, Maine (March 11, 2011) - The Maine McDonald's® Owner/Operator Association presented its third annual Maine McDonald's Spirit of the Game Award to Sarah Assante of Bonny Eagle H.S., Kyle McKim of Mount Desert Island H.S. and Graham Safford of Hampden Academy. The three student-athletes received their awards at the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches Awards Banquet on March 11 at Husson University in Bangor. In addition, the recipients each received a $500 Spirit Scholarship to assist with their higher education needs.
